Istanbul Ghetto Club aime expérimenter : savoureux airs anatoliens et combine d’instruments traditionnels tels que le saz, un synthétiseur modulaire et des sons acides avec une touche érotique, psychédélique et absurde.
Collectif anonyme de la scène underground et avant-gardiste berlinoise, largement reconnue comme un précurseur mondial, Istanbul Ghetto Club incarne une interface entre trois champs de tension, l’Est et l’Ouest, l’underground et le courant dominant, et enfin le traditionnel et l’air du temps. Le groupe travaille actuellement sur la sortie de son premier album, prévu pour février 2024.
